2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

a) When Visiting the Website

When purely informational retrieval of the website takes place, our servers temporarily store each access (server log files). The following data is collected without your intervention and stored until automatic deletion:

IP address
Date and time of access
Name and URL of the retrieved file
Referrer URL (previously visited page)
Browser and, where applicable, operating system used
Amount of data transferred

Processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest: operation and security of the web offering).

b) Contact Form

When you submit inquiries via the contact form, the data you enter in the input mask (e.g. name, email, telephone number, message text), including your IP address and the time of the inquiry, are transmitted to us and stored. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data is used exclusively to process your contact request and is deleted after processing is completed, provided there are no legal retention obligations.

c) Transport Calculator

For your individual quote, our calculator collects the following information:

Floor
Distance from entrance to the truck
Personal data: name, address, telephone number, desired moving date
Detailed order list with furniture items

After calculation, the entries are displayed to you as an offer and sent by email to info@theoumzug.de. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract or steps prior to entering into a contract). Your data will be deleted after the retention period of 6 months has expired, provided no subsequent order is placed.

3. Disclosure of Data

A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place. We only pass on your data if:

you have given your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR,
the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing the data,
in the event that disclosure is required by law in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, and
it is legally permissible and necessary in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of contractual relations with you.
